Free, for 6 players, printed at home.

The Last Toast

Midnight. Champagne. One glass that should never have been raised.

Crane Hall's glass-roofed Winter Garden, high on Larkhill above the city lights, during the Crane Cellars Midnight Masquerade: a jazz trio, a champagne fountain, masks at the door and a brass strongbox on the Toast Table.

We send the link here. No newsletter unless you ask for one.

The suspects

The victim: Augustus Crane. Founder of Crane Cellars, the hill's most famous champagne house, and host of the Midnight Masquerade for thirty years. Charming, theatrical and impossible to surprise, he believed a good bubble and a good secret both improve with age.
  • Sterling Crane

Augustus's grandchild and head of sales at Crane Cellars

  • Rowan Ashby

Cellar master of Crane Cellars and keeper of the 1949 Midnight Cuvée

  • Avery Lockhart

Head gardener of the Crane Hall Winter Garden

  • Jules Delacourt

Society photographer for the Hilltop Herald

  • Marlowe Quinn

    Bookkeeper of Crane Cellars

  • Frankie Vance

Founder of Vance & Vine sparkling wine, and Augustus's former partner

What's inside

  • Evidence printouts and a lock-box puzzle with a 4-digit code
  • 2 spare characters for surprise guests
  • Invitations, name tags and accusation ballots
  • A host guide with narration to read aloud, and a sealed solution for the reveal
