How the
night runs

You add the guests. We write the case and run the night. From the invites to the last accusation, here’s the order of things.

Eight eras, from a 1925 speakeasy to a 1970s Vegas casino. Add your guests with one fun fact each; anything sensitive stays out of the story.

What’s in
the case

  1. A part for every guest

Each guest gets a character, a secret, what to wear and a portrait drawn from a selfie. Change the guest list free until 24 hours before; two standby parts cover surprise plus-ones.

A guest's character page: name, role, portrait and costume ideas.
  2. Clues on every phone

Each round, every player gets their own clues to share or keep quiet. Nobody holds the answer, so the host plays too. Boxed kits fix the cast; this one is written for your list.

Round one on a guest's phone: the timer and the clues they hold.
  3. An Evidence Locker

Letters, receipts, a voicemail and a lock-box puzzle open round by round. Zoom in, read the fine print, pin suspects to the red-string board.

  4. A narrator for the TV

Narration with captions, the timer and the next step on any TV or laptop. If someone doesn't show, mark them absent and their clues pass to someone who did.

The host screen on a TV: round one, the narration, the suspects and the evidence.

you host

How long does it take to set up?

About five minutes for you: pick a theme, add guests, and your free preview appears in seconds. After you pay, the full case is ready in about five minutes. Guests just open their invite link.

How many guests can play?

From 6 to 20 players. Party covers up to 12 guests and Big Party up to 20. If someone drops out or a plus-one appears, re-cast for free until 24 hours before, and 2 standby characters cover surprise guests on the night.

We're not actors. Will it still be fun?

Yes. Every character gets suggested lines, simple objectives and clues to share each round, so nobody is stuck improvising. The narrator keeps things moving.

Do we need to print anything?

No. Everything works on phones, with a narrator on any TV or laptop. If you love paper props, there's an optional print-at-home kit with clue cards, name tags and a sealed host guide.

Does everyone need a phone?

Phones are used briefly between rounds so people still talk face to face. Prefer zero screens? Print-only mode works without any phones.

Can the host play too?

Yes. Choose 'host plays' and the solution stays sealed from you too, so you get to be a suspect like everyone else.

What happens to our photos?

Selfies are optional. Each guest gives consent and confirms they're 18+, and the selfie is deleted right after their portrait is made. Party data is deleted after 90 days unless you choose to keep it.
